Cinnamon

This year for Christmas we had an extra special surprise... What started out as quite a bit of stress, turned into a Christmas miracle.
It all started when Tatum made her Christmas list.
1. 4wheeler
2. baby sister
3. a real live elf....
huh...

I was more than concerned.. None of these things were going to happen. Things were not looking good. Until one day......... Tate received a letter in the mail from THE HEAD ELF at the north pole! He was letting us know that Cinnamon, an elf that made tea sets, had finished her toy making early, and wanted to come stay at our house for a couple of weeks before Christmas. He said that she would be at our house in a couple of days, and that Santa would take Cinnamon back to the North Pole with him on Christmas Eve. Tatum was absolutely out of her mind. We searched ever crevice of our house every day and night with a flash light. Ya know, just so we wouldn't miss her.
When Cinnamon finally arrived we were in love. She was the cutest little thing ever. She had a letter with her letting us know that she only came alive at night, and that she had a lot of energy that sometimes got her into trouble. The first night that she slept with us was at Grandma Ponds house. We were there for the Pond Christmas Party.
You know what she did? She had a snow ball fight in grandmas living room! Tiny white marsh mellows were everywhere! Tatum nearly died of giggling happiness. As she did for the 12 mornings that followed..
Cinnamon making reindeer food * look at her cute notes she left every morning*
Decorating our tree with Tate's clothes

Playing in Tatums bathroom with toothpaste.. which is a little harder to get off than one would actually think.. FYI

Cinnamon breaking into our candy stash.. Her note said she had a belly ache..

Watching Christmas movies, and eating popcorn
Cinnamon was such a joy to have around. She brought my music loving, cell phone texting, hip popping, sass a frass, back down to a 7 year old. It was fun to see my little girl light up in the mornings when she saw what Cinny had been up to. She gave us one more year of innocence.. That is a priceless Christmas gift.
Hopefully she will keep coming back. She promised to, as long as Tatum is good every year. We can't wait!
