So, I know its February 4, 2010 (the day before my birthday) buuutttt I am going to start here to catch up on my blogging.. I dont think we even took any pictures of Thanksgiving this year, but I dont want to actually forget what we did..
Anyways.. We went to Logan to catch up with Ryan's fun family. Ry comes from a family of 5 boys. He is the baby. All of his brothers are such great guys, and have awesome families too. We have a really great time sitting around together in Grandma & Grandpas living room visiting & catching up. I will always have warm fuzzy memories of doing that. It is always a good time.
We also have a tradition of going to the movie, with just girls, after dinner.
I know I appreciate this tradition, because it often gets us "women" out of cleaning up everything.. I dont know when this happened to me, that I became one of the "women" but man it sneaks up on you. Even still when Ryan and I go like camping, or something like that, I wait for my mom and my dad to show up to get it all packed up and ready to go.. And wait for them then again when we have to unpack at the camp site.. And then again when it is time to pack up the camp site.. This has been a very hard thing for me to wrap my brain around.. The buck stops here.. (is that the saying?) If I dont do it, It's not going to get done.. That is so weird.
Anyways, Thanksgiving was great. I love my in laws, and am so grateful for each one of them.. From my stern faced, yet gushy hearted, father in law all the way down to the curly haired, spunky little Ellie.
They are all so unique and great in their own ways. I am truly Thankful!
